The newly revealed origin story Transformers: War for Cybertron will indeed be heading to the Wii as well as the Nintendo DS along with the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC versions.
The game is a third person shooter set on Cybertron before the Transformers arrive on our fair planet. That means no Optimus as a truck, Bumblebee as a Beetle or Camaro, but instead Cybertronian vehicles. You will of course be able to play as Autobot or Decepticon. The press release mentions that the game will have “single player, online co-op or head-to-head multiplayer matches” but we’re not sure if the Wii version will have the online co-op (and we dont expect it) – we’d like to be surprised, though.
High Moon Studios are developing, but we’re also not sure if they’re doing all the versions or just some. The last Transformers game on the Wii was handled by Aussie developers Krome.
The game is due for release next year.
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
Loco Motive, MySims: Cozy Bundle, Stray, Nine Souls, Servonauts.
