Whilst no official announcement was made, the Wii version has appeared on French gaming site ‘Jeuxvideo’. The Trackmania series is famous for its manic online competitive mode and creation and sharing user-created tracks. Details are scant, but with the emphasis on multiplayer, it is a given the Wii iteration will feature decent online support for the racer. The announcement comes in the wake of the North American release of Trackmania DS in March, which received moderately favourable reviews.
Our poor French-speaking skills limits us from telling you more about what the video reveals about the game, but for now we’re just happy to see the top-notch racer coming to Wii.
