IGN has revealed some interesting new information on the Nintendo DS version of Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, developed by the team behind the GBA versions, Vicarious Visions. Here are the main points:

-New cel-shaded graphical look to set it apart from the console version.
-Said to be currently running at 60 frames per second in huge expansive environments.
-Bottom screen is home of an overhead map
-Specific touch screen specials pulled off by pressing icons at the proper moment…
-Able to draw avatars and board decals.
-Record your voice to create samples which will be used when your character bails or pulls off a special move.
-Custom voice samples and drawings will be transfered wirelessly when playing multiplayer modes.
