Tony Hawk: SHRED was confirmed a while back, but today Activision has confirmed the sequel to Tony Hawk: Ride and told us all a little about it. After Tony Hawk: Ride failed to find an audience last year, theyre now targeting the kids market this year, saying that "Tony Hawk: SHRED allows kids to "GO BIG" and feel the exhilaration of skate and snowboarding like the pros using the games innovative, motion-sensing board controller right at their feet." The game is not only skewing younger, but also to the more cartoony side with a new art style on all consoles. The Wii art style is again, different though.
You also read that previous quote right, they have included snowboarding in the game. Just by looking at the board, it resembles more of a snowboard than a skateboard. It makes perfect sense.
Tony Hawk: Shred is out later this year on Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
From Mario to Zelda, to Splatoon to Donkey Kong. Everything on Nintendo Music.
Definitively done with the Wii U now.
But it's not for everyone yet.
