Your dreams of becoming a fake pro skateboarder will have to be put on hold until next year

More news from Activision earning conference call with the news that Tony Hawk Ride will only hit three regions this year. Those regions are America, the United Kingdom and Germany. Countries missing out on the action will be France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Sweden and yes, even here in Australia. In fact, any country not in the first three will miss out.

So why are we missing out? It’s that damn fake skateboard controller of course. Being expensive to make and with the increased costs of shipping, these things (no matter how much they cost us in the end) Activision is playing it coy as it probably doesn’t have enough to go around.

Just cast your mind back to the Guitar Hero World Tour shortages and quality problems last year. A repeat of that may thankfully be avoided.
