Tony Hawk – Ride as a Mii
Ever wondered what that Hitler Mii of yours would look like down at the local skate park?
Most of us have played at least one game in the very prolific Tony Hawk franchise, the most popular skating series, which has appeared on handhelds and consoles alike. But, it’s a bit boring constantly playing as professional skaters, isn’t it? Well, it seem that Activision—the developers of the Tony Hawk games—agree.
Last week, Activision announced that Tony Hawk: Ride will include an unexpected feature; the ability to skate as a Mii. Apparently, this feature was tacked on to the game in the later stages of development to compensate for the lack of an online component. Whether skating as a Mii is worth forfeiting an online mode remains to be seen, but it’ll certainly be interesting importing that Hitler or Kevin Rudd Mii.
