Now that April fools is out of the way I can finally sort through all the rubbish and find some news for you guys!

IGN have reported that Tomb Raider Legend, the latest game in the Tomb Raider series which is to be released shortly on the PC, Xbox and Xbox 360, PS2 will now be coming to the Gamecube as well as the GBA and Nintendo DS.

IGN have also interviewed Bill Gardner president of Eidoss North American office; “”[when] asked what sparked the company’s decision to bring Tomb Raider to the Nintendo platforms, Eidos North America’s CEO and president, Bill Gardner, joked, ‘Lara likes Reggie? No, seriously, our new management team believes that the Nintendo platforms have been neglected and that the platforms provide a great opportunity for Tomb Raider to gain exposure to a new audience.'””

Another possible reason why its coming to the Gamecube is Lego Star Wars. Even after being delayed for some time after the release of the PS2 and Xbox versions, the Gamecube version sold in so great a number that obviously Eidos thinks that Tomb Raider will do the same.

Eidos have also stipulated that the game wont be shown at E3. However I would expect to see more about it before then.
