Another third party Wii U game emerges from the shadows.
Nintendo of America has just posted a press release confirming that the Wii U will be receiving Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, the latest game in the series to be released this August.
The game has been rumoured for the Wii U for months but only now has been confirmed via Nintendo. The Wii U version will use the GamePad to use the games signature gadgets, switch between weapons and we’re sure there will be a map there as well.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist will be the first Splinter Cell game without Michael Ironside as the voice of Sam Fisher as Ubisoft are shaking up the franchise somewhat. We’ve included the latest trailer for the game below.
The game will be released in here in Australia on August 22nd. We’ll find out from Ubisoft if the collectors edition will be made available in a Wii U variety.
Any one up for some Splinter Cell action on the Wii U then?
More than 450 games added this final week.
What a year.
Gotta go fast.
