Todays Virtual Console update for US brings ""Gifting"" feature
Along with todays Virtual Console update today in the US, Nintendo has announced that later today they will also be enabling the Gifting feature in the Wii Shop Channel. This new Gifting facility allows you to send games to other Wii owners; but only ones that youve traded friend codes with. According to Nintendo it is really easy and if you request a game a friend already has you will be told and be bumped back to the catalogue. Along with this update, Pokemon Snap with its photo posting ability, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, and Baseball Stars 2 have been released. More info about the games inside.
Pokmon Snap (Nintendo 64, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 1,000 Wii Points): As one of the most unique games in a renowned series, Pokmon Snap was the first truly 3-D Pokmon game and introduced the phenomenon to the Nintendo 64. Travel to Pokmon Island and meet Professor Oak to begin a safari, taking the best possible photographs of 63 different Pokmon as they exist in the wild, undisturbed by humans. This is not as easy as it soundsthe island has many types of climates and environments to explore, along with secret activities and hidden passages to discover. After you’re done, submit one picture of each Pokmon to Professor Oak, and he’ll judge it based on size, pose, technique and number of Pokmon captured.
