Toca Race Driver heading to the Nintendo DS

Codemasters has today announced that Toca Race Driver (aka V8 Supercars: Create & Race) will be heading to the Nintendo DS under guise of Race Driver: Create and Race. The game has been designed specifically for the DS as it allows you to create you own tracks with all the elements you wish, such as hairpins, straights and chicanes.

If making your own track is not your thing, dont worry because 32 real world circuits will feature, as well as 25 different cars such as the Koenig GT, DTM and more. The V8 Supercars are not mentioned specifically but we are hoping they will be included too. The game will also have DS Wifi connection capabilities and you can take on your mates with the standard circuits as well as your home made ones.

Well contact Atari (Codemasters) here in Australia to see if the V8s will be making it but look for the game elsewhere in the world around winter. No Australian date as of yet.

Update: It has been confirmed that the game will be known as V8 Supercars 3: Create and Race in Australia.
