A new 2.5 Bonk game, a new Bomberman title seem to be have been accidently revealed by Hudson

Recently, while looking for a Lost in Shadow (what Tower of Shadow is now called) entry on Hudson’s site, NeoGAF member VideoMan stumbled across some games which Hudson hasn’t announced yet. Thankfully, he posted all of the information available, because Hudson have since pulled all of it away from their website, so it seems they don’t quite want everyone to know about these titles yet.

First of the three is Bonk: Brink of Extinction for WiiWare (along with XBLA and PSN). Being the first new console Bonk game in nearly 15 years, it features a 2.5D graphic style (akin to Hudson’s own Adventure Island: The Beginning for WiiWare) as well as a completely new story involving a doomsday comet heading for a collision with Earth, making its inhabitants go crazy, which means he needs to reach the centre of the Earth to save the world. The game will feature a co-op system that allows another player to jump in at any time. This will apparently also work online, but we’re not sure if it will be included in the WiiWare version. The game is supposed to be coming out in Spring 2010 (Autumn 2010 for Australians).

The next game is called Bomberman Live: Battlefest, also marked for WiiWare/XBLA/PSN. This probably won’t be the WiiWare version’s name, considering ’Live’ is used to refer to Xbox Live Arcade games. The game is said to include team battles, both offline and online (WiiWare’s Bomberman Blast only supports teams locally), new team-only modes, 5 new power-ups, 18 new characters, as well as new arenas (including Adventure Island themed landscapes). Again, we’re not sure which out of these will be available in the WiiWare version, which is set for a 2010 release.

Rooms: The Main Building (for Wii and DS) appears to be a new version of a game under the same name already available for PC. It is a bizarre blend of slider puzzle and adventure game; you slide the tile pieces that rooms are made up of to help your character on his way to the exit. The Wii’s pointer controls and the DS’s stylus are both utilised in their respective versions. Items found along the way can be put to use in the over 100 rooms contained. Each game has a level editor included, but, unfortunately, only the DS version allows you to share your creations. The Wii version’s competitive two player mode helps make up for that, though, and sees you race against another player to be the first person to exit a room.

We’ll let you know when we next hear anything regarding these games.
