The uDraw tablet may be a product of THQs own creation but they have very nice things to say about Nintendo who have according to them having "Its been an incredible partnership".

THQ director, Luis Gigliotti, spoke at GamesCom about the partnership, saying that it was Nintendos hardware design expertise that was key to making uDraw a shippable product. The original prototype of the tablet, according to Gigliotti, was a monstrously sized wood and brass contraption. Nintendo told them not to worry, insisting that THQ work on the software while Nintendo assist on the hardware.
But Nintendos help extended further than just software, with Nintendo letting THQ use some of the forgotten Wii features, one of which was the ability to save drawings to the SD Card. Nintendo usually say no to other developers using these features, claims Gigliotti, but when they saw uDraw they didnt need any convincing.
