Thought the Wii Virtual Console was dead? Think again…
European Wii & 3DS Virtual Console set to dish out games a plenty this March.
You might have thought we’d seen the last of Wii’s Virtual Console. But thankfully it seems this won’t be the case, with the European (and therefore Australian) Wii and 3DS Virtual Console services receiving quite a few releases over the coming month.
Some of the more exciting releases for the Wii are Strider (Megadrive), Mega Man 5 (NES) and Mega Man X (SNES). 3DS owners can also continue the build-up to Kid Icarus: Uprising, with its predecessor, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters (Gameboy) finding its way to Virtual Console. Alongside this are a trio of NES games: Super Mario Bros., Metroid and Punch-Out!!, as well as a few Game Gear games, notably Shinobi and Sonic.
Here is a full list of the games expected to hit the two services over the course of March.
