There’s no new Skylanders game releasing in 2017

The fate of the Skylanders franchise has been somewhat up in the air this year. Now Activision has confirmed while there won’t be a brand new game this year, there’s still plenty of Skylanders content to come in 2017.
Skylanders Imaginators will be releasing on the Switch on March 3rd, there will be new toys and ‘digital content’ which many presume to be mobile apps. The Skylanders Academy animated show is also back on Netflix next year.
It’s probably a good idea for the series to slow down a tad. Step into any store and you’ll see just how much stuff there is to buy. Taking a creative break sounds like a swell idea for all.
