It seems no property from the past is safe from being converted into a block-buster movie these days. Threshold Global Studios has announced that it will be begin filming a Tetris movie in China next year. The movie has movie of $80 million dollars and will feature an all-star Chinese cast. The studio describes it as a sci-fi thriller.

The films producer, Larry Kasanoff who has worked on such movies as C.H.U.D. II – Bud the Chud, The Making of ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ and the Mortal Kombat movie says it’s “not at all what you think; it will be a cool surprise.”

It couldn’t possibly be as bad as that Battleship movie with Rhianna could it?
