The Zelda Team working on something new… or old?

In an interview with Nintendo Overlord Shigeru Miyamoto many things were discussed from Nintendo’s new vision to cater for everyone, Wii Fit and much more. Aside from the usual self promotion the most important thing to come out of this interview was when Miyamoto hinted at the return of Zelda or possibly, a brand new I.P from the Zelda team. The Zelda team is forming again to work on new games! But to me, its about finding these new interactive experiences and bringing them to people.

Assuming that Miyamoto is now focused on creating content for everyone, eg Wii Sports and Wii Fit, the Zelda team will be left to their own accord to make the core audience content that they so desperately want. If this is the case will Miyamoto direct them toward making a game that anyone can play or will they produce a game or two that is reminiscent of the Gamecube era. E3 looms!
