Whats happened in the past week that you need to check out. Could the news drought be coming to an end?

It’s been a week of ups and down, some good news but mostly bad news. Gladly, we’ve brought you some hands on impressions and event coverage to keep the good times rolling.

This week, we learnt that Goldeneye Wii would be being bundled with a gold Classic Controller Pro, the bad news is that it looks like it could be upwards of $100 in Australia. Boo-urns. More Pokemon news was revealed with TMs now having unlimited uses in Pokemon Black and White. The world map for the game was also revealed. On the local front, we found out that we’d be getting Sonic Colours early and before the rest of the world. Now let’s just hope it’s actually good.

Remember the N-Gage? Well, looks like thats all Nokia could take from Nintendo after alleged secret prototype phone-game handsets were being developed in the early 2000s. Sucks to be Nokia. On Thursday, we got to play Metroid: Other M early and told you all about it. Remember that National Coin Challenge final? We thought you might, well our reporter Excite was on hand at the event and recorded over 35 minutes of footage for you to pour over. Check it out, he’s done a great job.
