The Nintendo DS is Ubisofts biggest seller
Nintendos premier handheld sold more games for Ubisoft last year than any other console.
Games for the handheld made up 29% of games sold worldwide by Ubisoft in 2008. The French company’s success on the handheld was bolstered by sales of the casual-centric ‘Pets’ and ‘Imagine’ line of games for younger gamers. In the last quarter of 2008, more games were sold for the Wii at 29%, assumedly in the lead-up to Christmas. 2008 was a good year for Ubisoft, which earnt a 14% sales boost over the previous financial year, making a whopping $1.47 billion (Americaland dollars).

Wii – 18% of sales
PC – 9% of sales
