It’s been revealed that director of early Sonic the Hedgehog titles Hirokazu Yasuhara now works at Nintendo. The move to Nintendo America subsidiary NST (Nintendo Software Technology) has been revealed on Hirokazu Yasuhara’s LinkedIn profile, he was only just working at Namco Bandai last month.
While Yasuhara has worked for many companies in his career he is most well known for being the director of many of the original Sonic the Hedgehog titles and working next to Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka. Hirokazu Yasuhara has also worked at 2K Sports and even Naughty Dog.
There’s no sign yet as to what Mr Yasahara will be doing at NST but there hasn’t been a title out of them for a while so they might be working on something big.
