Set sail for FUN, this October 5th.
During the European Nintendo Direct last night Nintendo revealed the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. It’s coming out October 4th in Europe and September 26th in Japan.
An Australian release date was not set but it should be simply the day after the European date like usual making the release date for October 5th. We will bug Nintendo Australia in the morning for a release date.
Update: Nintendo Australia has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is out here on October 5th.
Satoru Iwata also took time out to reconfirm changes to the Triforce Shard quest, tweaks to the speed of the King of Red Lions and the Wind Waker itself.
Iwata also revealed that the Nintendo 3DS title The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds would be coming to the system in November. No firmer release date was confirmed.
