The Gold Shovel Knight amiibo is coming to Australia with a golden price

We’ve been following whether or not we would get the new Gold Shovel Knight amiibo and the three-pack with Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight. The good news is we are getting them, the bad news is – it’s kind of expensive.

The single Gold Shovel Knight amiibo currently is available to preorder at JB Hi-Fi for $34 making it the most expensive normal-sized amiibo to be released in Australia. The triple pack is also available to preorder for $69, which for three amiibo isn’t as obscene.

The silver lining here is that while JB are the only stores to have to available to preorder right now, Amazon and The Gamesmen are said to be stocking it as well.

This hopefully means some competition on price, because that’s one expensive amiibo.
