The home release of the Detective Pikachu was dated a couple of weeks ago, and now we know more about what’ll be on the disc. The movie will be out on digital storefronts on 23rd with a physical release on August 6th. It’ll be released on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K.
Special features include an Alternative Opening Detective Mode (which brings up trivia, facts and more), a music video with Rita Ora and Kygo, featurettes and special commentary by Mr. Mime.
Whether that’s two hours of Mr. Mime saying his name over and over or complete silence – we’re betting on the latter – is a mystery. Whatever it is – it’s hilarious.
No word yet if Australia will get the promo card that’s listed with the US and UK releases.
