The Aussie Club Nintendo now has some balls, also a Christmas sale

There’s some movement on the Australian Club Nintendo shop, it’s got some balls today.

Golf balls that is! There are four Mario branded Golf Balls up for redemption for a mere 2000 stars. They appear to look quit fancy, we’re not sure if you’d ever want to actually use them.

In other news there’s a sale on the ‘store’ too with a bunch of Club Nintendo items now reduced just in time for, well just in time for 2015. Sadly there’s no way these will make delivery before Christmas.

Check out the balls and the discounts by following this link.

It’s not something I would buy, but it’s good to see we’re slowly getting new and better stuff added to the ANZ store.

I’ve missed all of the good prizes as I foolishly thought that there would be adequate stock. I’ve missed out on the SNES Classic Controller, the gold nunchuk, and the Kirby and Super Mario 3D World soundtracks, even though I’m sitting on thousands upon thousands of unused (and unregistered) points. Even if I had redeemed some of these codes, the minimal stock for the very best prizes had already been exhausted by the time I considered redeeming them.

Just yesterday, I’ve started loading up all of my Club Nintendo points before they expire (and many of my Wii Club Nintendo cards have already expired, as well as a bunch of 3DS games, as I erroneously thought that the codes expired five years after their original release date).

To date I’ve only claimed the two Game & Watch Collection games from Club Nintendo. The golf balls are tempting, but I’ll never use them, and I’d rather someone who may put them to use have them instead. I’m not big on knickknacks.
