The Amazing Spiderman heads to Wii U
At the New York Comic Convention 2012, Marvel announced during their panel that The Amazing Spiderman will be coming to the WiiU in Autumn 2013.
The game will feature special gamepad functionality and all the currently available DLC including the Rhino Challenge Pack, the Oscorp Search and Destroy Pack, the Lizard Rampage Pack, and the Stan Lee Adventure Pack.
Optional motion controls are included along with several touchscreen functionalities including navigating Spidermans ‘Osphone’, which lets you chart an a path through the city via GPS.
The game receive average reviews overall, averaging only about 72% on Gamerankings. With the added WiiU functionality and all the DLC thrown in for free, it’ll likely be much better value for WiiU owners who haven’t had a chance to play it yet, to pick it up when it launches on WiiU in Autumn next year.
It wouldn’t just be the extra gamepad functionality and the DLC, just having an extra year of development time could do wonders for a game like this, really give them time to fix all the complaints that it received.
