The 24 hour Pokémon Sword & Shield stream teased and tormented, eventually revealing Galarian Ponyta
The twenty-four hour-long Pokémon Sword and Shield research stream has ended and what do we have to show for it?
Many other Pokémon poked their heads, tails and faces into the stream, there were times where nothing happened for over 30 minutes. But eventually, during the stream, a brand new Pokémon was revealed – Galarian Ponyta.
This new regional Ponyta has all the appearance of a marshmallow and unicorn.
Minutes before the stream ended, two Galarian Ponyta showed themselves and it showed that they can glow like a rainbow. One of them has a tail and the other one doesn’t, for what reason we’re not yet sure. As the stream ended and blacked out, a Rapidash cry could also be heard but nothing was shown.
But like all things, it’s not the end result of the stream, but the memes we got along the way. Here’s some of the best we could find. A 24-hour stream is a pretty crazy idea, an interesting move from The Pokémon Company.
