A first in the part of their new Pilot Program

Telltale has announced its first original IP, it’s called Puzzle Agent and it’s heading to WiiWare as well as the PC and the iPhone. The game is a part of a new initiative called the Pilot Program in which Telltale will release quirky and crazy games that usually wouldn’t get a second look at.

Puzzle Agent is a adventure puzzle game which reminds us a lot of Professor Layton, however it looks nothing like it as the art is done by Graham Annable. Puzzle Agent follows the story of Nelson Tether who is a part of the FBI’s Puzzle Investigation division. Nelson is sent out to Scoggins, Minnesota to investigate the closure of the towns eraser factory. You see the town is hiding something, and guess who has to solve it?

Check out the trailer below and check out Destructoid’s hands on impressions with the game.
