Capcoms premier fighting game for Wii, which was announced for American release last week, will also be available in PAL territories, as new details come in for the western version of the fighter.

An admin and community manager on the Capcom Europe forums admitted that European gamers will also be able to their mitts on the cross-franchise fighter. The game will be re-named to ‘Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-stars’ and is being considered to have online play support.

The original Japanese version was always considered unlikely to get a western release owing to licensing complications with characters from Tatsunoko’s line-up of anime characters- most of which are complete unknowns among western audiences. The western version may not receive the original roster of Tatsunoko characters, but Capcom may take the opportunity to bring some new characters along for the ride. The game will be featured at next months E3 and is likely to be out before the end of the year.
