Aussie developers bringing their first DSiWare title this month Australian developers Tantalus have today announced they have a DSiWare title on the way, and itll be out really soon too. Drift Street International is new and exclusive racing game for DSiWare and its out next Monday on the 22nd for the US and hopefully not too far after for Europe and here in Australia.

Drift Street International has a very NFS Underground vibe coming from it but it promises to push the DS further than ever before with the game making use of the extra power that the DSi has. Not many DSiWare or DSi games have used this extra power as of yet. The game includes the usual compliment of single player modes but four player local wireless as well. Modes like time trials and elimination are in there as well.

Tantaluss racing pedigree goes way back to the Gameboy Advance where it had the Nintendo published Top Gear Rally win multiple awards. CEO Tom Crago says Drift Street International represents the companys greatest achievement yet. To have Top Gear published by Nintendo and win a number of Game of the Year awards was a huge rush, but we all feel as though weve made something even more special with Drift Street International, said Crago. Visually, it stands apart from anything else out there, and in terms of car handling and gameplay its in a league of its own.
