The Nintendo Direct revealed a new multiplayer tank combat game called Tank Troopers which has been slated for release later this year.
The anime-styled game looks to star an ensemble cast of characters with different abilities and tank customisations suited to a variety of play styles.
Aside from the usual tank weapons, players have an array of special attacks at their disposal, including a freeze turret and a paintball gun which serves as a method of slowing the enemy down and obstructing their view respectively.
Tank Troopers will support up to six-player local multiplayer and download play as well when it arrives in Europe and Australia in 2017, after its American holiday release.
Sid's back, there's a beefy cat, a phantom hero, and a moon.
