When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was announced for DS, the number one question on everybody’s lips was “”What about Grand Theft Auto for Wii?”” CEO of Take-Two, Ben Feder, has commented on this. Or rather, hasn’t commented. “”Without commenting on whether GTA is coming to the Wii or not, Nintendo and Take-Two work very well together; Nintendo & Rockstar work well together, and we are continuing to grow that relationship.”” More Inside
In less cryptic news, Feder claims that the company spent an enormous amount of time and effort on building their partnership with Nintendo to bring Grand Theft Auto to the DS. “”It’s not a one-way relationship in any way. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is not even the first step, but an important step, in continuing to develop that relationship.”” It was confirmed that Chinatown Wars is set for a first quarter 2009 release with the promise of “”no later than February 1.””
