Oh. My. God.

Back in June, French developer and publisher Microïds announced a deluge of games that would be coming to the Nintendo Switch over the next two years. Amongst those was the Syberia trilogy, an absolutely fantastic series of steampunky point-and-click adventure games released over 15 years. And now we know exactly when we can join Kate Walker on the first leg of her journey to the mythical island of Syberia.

Announced somewhat quietly via an eShop update of all things, Syberia will be released on the 4th of October in Australia, and the 3rd of October in Europe. There’s no price yet, or a date for the other two games in the series, but it’s a strong start, assuming they can deliver on time. The eShop listing has a bunch of nice screenshots (which you can check out in the tweets below) and a trailer that shows the game looking absolutely incredible.

As you might be able to tell, I’m a little bit excited. Are you looking forward to playing this adventure classic? Let us know in the comments below.
