The Play Activity information bug uncovered on the anniversary of the Switch has caused a little bit of a worry amongst fans. Nintendo spoke up about the bug saying they’re aware of the issue and more information would come later.
Now they’ve given us a statement and there’s good news, no data has been lost.
“Some Nintendo Switch owners’ play activity information is displaying incorrectly, but play activity is still being recorded accurately in the background. A future Nintendo Switch system update will resolve this issue and ensure play time data is correctly displayed. We apologise for the inconvenience.” – Nintendo statement
No word when that update will arrive, but at least you can play on with confidence.
