Here’s something you never thought would happen – Doom is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Not actual death or destruction, but a port of the 2016 critical darling, that Doom. The game was announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct and will be arriving on the Switch later in 2017.
The last time Doom was released on a Nintendo platform was in 2002 with a port of Doom 2: Hell on Earth. To find a Nintendo console with Doom we have to go all the way back to 1997 and Doom 64.
Doom is also joined by another Bethesda title – Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, that game is out next month on other consoles but the Switch version won’t be released until 2018.
Get in quick, they go fast.
