Surprise! Two new outfits have been added to Super Mario Odyssey
Remember a little while back, when the PR for Super Mario Odyssey’s Balloon World update hinted that there might be more costumes on the way? Turns out they may have been here all along.
Those opening up the game today will find a notification just like the one in the header image above, announcing that two new costumes — the Satellaview suit and the baseball uniform — are not only in the game, but available for purchase using in-game coins right now. It seems these outfits were stealthily added in the last update, but much like the hidden hint art, were locked behind a time and date requirement.
But sure enough, if you go to any Crazy Cap store, the two new outfits are there and ready for purchase. It’s unknown at this point if there are any other hidden features or outfits, but given how well Nintendo has kept this a secret so far, the possibilities are (almost) endless.
