Update 1: Looks like at leas one copy has also been sold by a EB Games in George Street, Sydney. We phoned the store but the clerk (the same name as on the receipt) denied they had the game. We’re checking with EB who have a ’crack team’ of fake receipt checkers.
At least one Target store in Australia has broken the release date for Mario Kart 7 which was set for release this Saturday. The game, which is out in Japan today, Europe on Friday and America on Sunday, was meant to have an awesome release schedule of coming out on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December. Why spoil it?
This is now the ten-billionth game to have its street date broken in Australia this year and just proves that even with a great release date stores are just going to bust dates.
We’ll keep a track of other retailers and see if anyone else sells as the day continues.

Definitively done with the Wii U now.
Because Gate Rune and Dunan Unification War is too long to fit in a title.
