Completely out of nowhere Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have dropped a brand new Pushmo (aka Pullblox) game on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop today and it’s ‘free to start’.
Hippa Land is like other instalments in the series that have you pushing and pulling blocks in a stack to reach the top, what’s different this time around is how you’ll pay for the game.
The free download includes 7 stages and if you’re keen for more there’s various packages available at different price points depending on how many stages you’re after.
The biggest pack includes 100 levels and will set you back 500 yen ($5.10AUD), there’s three smaller packs with just 50 stages for 300 yen ($3.10AUD). You can buy all of the packs together if you like for a discount. Together they’re 1000 yen ($10.30AUD), seperately they’re 1400 ($14.49AUD) that’s a fair amount of stages for a small amount coin.
No western release has been announced for the game just yet, hell yesterday there wasn’t even this release announced.
Is the ‘free to start’ method of buying games something you’re keen on? Let us know in the comments.
