Super Smash Bros. Ultimate playable at Oz Comic-Con Sydney this weekend*
If you want to get your hands on with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before its release on December 7th, you’ll want to be at Oz Comic-Con in Sydney this weekend on September 29th and 30th. The game will be playable at Nintendo’s booth – but with a catch.
To play the game you’ll need to collect stamps from around the Nintendo booth by playing other games, these games include the unreleased Super Mario Party and Diablo III: Eternal Collection as well as a range of other already released games.
Want to get hands on with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before release? Head to the Nintendo booth at Oz Comic-Con Sydney and grab your #NEWCHALLENGER Passport!
Collect a stamp for playing Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Tennis Aces at the event. Present your fully stamped passport to enter the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Arena, where you can play the game before it releases on 7th December!
Let us know how it is.
Of all the luck! I thought Oz Comic Con would have been too much of a “little fish” to attract the likes of Nintendo.
I’ll be at the convention this weekend to help somebody out at one of the stalls. (still TBC at the moment)
And I have received an e-mail with a complete passport earlier today, so I might be able to participate.
I doubt I will be any good, but if I do end up participating, I’ll definitely keep you guys posted. Frankly, I’m not too excited about being teased and left longing for another 2 (and a bit) months. 😛
I haven’t tried it yet, but it appears to be the E3 demo (I really wanted to play as Pichu).
If you want to say hi (and score a couple of StreetPass hits), I will be located at Sacred Comics at stall B141.
