Super Smash Bros. gets limited edition 3DS XL and Meta Knight
Nintendo of Europe have announced a brand new, limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL console that will be releasing alongside the 3DS game this coming October. The console is a red colour and features a black and white character montage as seen on the game’s box-art. We’ve yet to receive official confirmation of the bundle coming to Australia but we’ll be sure to update our readers when we do.
The console comes pre-installed with a copy of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, and as with previous Nintendo consoles, these will probably be limited in availability.
In other, Smash Brothers related news, Masahiro Sakurai has updated the Super Smash Bros. website with details of a returning fighter – Meta Knight himself. We’ve included the render here, but you can visit the website to see him in action in both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be launching on 3DS on Saturday, October 4th in Australia. The Wii U version will follow later this year.
You didn’t put Fox on the front? Is he on the back? The inside? What the hell are you doing?
Man, if the characters were coloured in, I would have been all over this… but as it is, I think I can resist.
Seems a pretty meh 3DS XL style. Not horrible, but nothing really great.
