Super Smash Bros. for Wii U release date moves up to November 29th in Australia

Nintendo Australia has announced that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U release date will move up to November 29th in line with the American release date. Europe’s date also moves up to November 28th

This now also puts the game in line with the first wave of amiibo figures that were announced to be coming out on the 29th as well.

The game was originally scheduled for December 6th. Just when was the last time any game (not even Nintendo) got moved up to an earlier release date?

So what moves to the 29th? Well the game itself in stores and on the eShop ($79.95) and the game bundled with the GameCube controller adapter ($89.95).

The Smash Bros GameCube controllers are also now out on the same day for ($49.95).

The GameCube adapater will also now be available from Nintendo Australia on the 29th as well if you don’t buy it in the bundle.

Nintendo Australia have a really busy November ahead of them now.
