Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has some super exclusive modes

Makes Smash Run look like a picnic

While Friday’s Smash Bros presentation did show off a lot about the game we already knew there was a couple of game modes that we got a first look at and that are remixes of the same modes from the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.

The biggest reveal was Smash Tour, a fighting party game that looks and plays like a board game. You use the items, spin a wheel to move around the map. Four people can play this mode at once as they move around to gain fighters and power-ups to help them in the final battle.

Special Orders is a mix up of the solo component of the game. In Master Orders the more difficult the order you receive from Master Hand the greater the reward – but you only get one go. Crazy Orders you pay to enter battles and they get harder the longer you survive. You can stop or keep going, if you dare.
Also in the Solo modo there’s a new boss. Master Fortress and it’s a whole stage inside Master Core. He has a whole dungeon in side of him, who would have known?

These new modes join Coin Battles, Stamina Matches, Classic Mode, Event Mode and All-Star mode which are returning to the game.
