Looks like if you plan to download Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS this October you better have a beefy SD card.
Download cards for the game in Japan have gone out to stores revealing the size of the download and how much space it will take on your Nintendo 3DS. Coming in at a huge (for portables at least) 2.1 gigabytes, the game isn’t the biggest 3DS game so far (that honour goes to Donkey Kong Country: Returns 3D) but still twice the size of the standard SD card the system comes with.
Keep in mind that this download size is just for the Japanese version of the game, the English or even American versions could be larger or smaller depending on how much localisation is required. Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS is out in Japan on September 13th.
The card also fails to mention a copyright notice for Konami, could Solid Snake miss out this time around?
