Super Smash Bros. for 3DS disables Miiverse and Browser while playing

Well that's a little disappointing.

Looks like Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is really pushing the system to the max, maybe even more that we thought.

With the game now released and in our hands we’ve gone during gameplay to try and publish screenshots on Miiverse and Twitter but run into a roadblock.

You can’t.

Nintendo has disabled these two functions, there simply isn’t enough oomph in the 3DS to do both at the same time. The Miiverse page for the game even states (in Japanese) that this is the case. There are a couple of ways around this, first you can save screenshots during gameplay and upload to your computer via your SD card or secondly you can grab a New 3DS model which has extra RAM to allow this.

You know, just a whole new console.

Kind of sucks but when you see Smash looking as good as it does and running as smooth you’ll know why they decided to do this. Hey look here’s a screenshot just for you too.
