Super Meat Boy’s sales on Switch “shockingly close” to Xbox 360 debut
An indie game comes to Switch, the devs tweet about the great sales it has compared to other versions. It’s becoming a trend we’re liking and its continued with Super Meat Boy.
Despite releasing several years later after its initial release, and already being released on other Nintendo platforms Team Meat has tweeted some great news. According to the team, the game has sold “shockingly close” to the original Xbox 360 debut.

Super Meat Boy on Switch first day sales came shockingly close to it's debut on Xbox 360 back in 2010. That's. nuts.

Did you pick up Super Meat Boy on the Switch? Perhaps for the first time? Let us know in the comments.
I already bought it on steam back in the days. But I’m waiting for a retail version on switch.
Great game, highly recommend to anyone who wants some single player platforming fun. Have it on PS4 though, didn’t get again here.
Is this not proof enough that gamers still want this type and style of game and more of it?
Many devs when asked about ports to Switch, um and ah, never want to commit to a great port of a great game. More recently Klei um and ah about a Don’t Starve port. Lol. Maybe their happy enough with their Steam sales. Don’t want to tap into another market. While they’re at it bring a Mark of the Ninja deluxe to Switch and I’d buy it instantly(if reasonably priced).
