Maybe it's a good thing these aren't available here ?
The “cool merch that only Japan gets” train is on a roll this week. Earlier this week we got a first look at the new merch that will go on sale in Tokyo Nintendo – but now there’s even more.
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have announced a range of new merchandise that will go on sale in both the new Nintendo Tokyo store but also the new Shibuya Pokémon Center (which are in the same place). And it’s a cross promotion “scramble”.
The Tokyo Nintendo store will sell goods featuring 8-bit sprites of Pokemon characters but made up of sprites from the Super Mario games. The Pokémon Center will sell goods with Super Mario characters, but made up of Pokemon sprites. Zoom in to see how they created the sprites!
The rest of the goods will only be at the new Pokemon Center. These are some new graffiti art inspired keyrings, skateboard decks and plushes – Pikachu with a spray can sure is a thing!
And if you’re after something classy, there’s some Pokémon phone cases and other gear with Swarovski Crystal.
Both Nintendo Tokyo and Pokémon Center Shibuya open on November 22nd, so you’ve still got time to book a flight.
From Mario to Zelda, to Splatoon to Donkey Kong. Everything on Nintendo Music.
It's Black, Back Again.
Big name first party titles aplenty, all the big names.
