Super Mario Party patch ver 1.0.1 isn’t the update you’re hoping for

Nintendo has made an effort to keeps games updated post release with free updates and DLC, but there’s been one game that’s surprisingly has got nothing and that’s Super Mario Party.

Released last year and with now 5 million copies sold, Super Mario Party has had it’s first update since launch, here’s what it does;

Online: Fixed an issue with Online Mariothon in which ranking data was not displaying properly.

And that’s it. The only other games from Nintendo that haven’t had any updates post launch are 1-2 Switch and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, all of which have sold significantly less than Super Mario Party.

You know when release notes say ‘Bug Fixes’ but you don’t really believe it. We believe it this time.
