As expected Nintendo Australia has confirmed the details of the patch and announced that it will be released on November 28th.

Stealthily hidden at the bottom of the mid-level checkpoint update announcement is the release date for the Super Mario Maker pixel art cover-plate.
It will hit European stores on November 27th, with any luck we’ll be getting an announcement in the morning saying its arriving in Australia on November 28th.

Awesome. I was about to pre-order from Play-Asia at probably double the price with shipping. Nothing is proving to be an epic – and costly – month for Nintendo fans.
I was going to import as well. Lucky, I waited. 😀
