Satoru Iwata honoured with posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 19th annual DICE Awards were held Thursday night (Friday morning Australian time) and just the single Nintendo game was up for an award.
That game was Super Mario Maker.
The game picked up an award, Family Game of the Year! Super Mario Maker has picked up this award before both at Gamescom Awards and The Game Awards 2015. The other awards were split mostly amongst Fallout 4, The Witcher 3 and Ori and the Blind Forest picked up a few as well.
The other big recognition for Nintendo on the night went to Satoru Iwata. He was awarded with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award and a video played; we’ve included it below.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, Rune Factory 5, Rune Factory 4 Special, West…
Mario & Luigi: Brothership, Miyamoto and Metal Slug Tactics.
Until you see the price, at least.
Put a pin in it.
