Super Mario 3DS slated for release this year?

Nintendo game designer Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that Nintendo hopes to release Super Mario 3DS this year

Miyamoto spoke to French website Gameblog and said that he was working hard to deliver the title this year for Nintendo’s latest handheld. “I promise to do everything to deliver your new Mario this year!” Miyamoto told Gameblog (translated).

Assuming Mario Kart 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS are also released this year, that would mean three Mario titles are coming out in the space of one year.

We are sure to learn more about Super Mario 3DS at this year’s E3 in June.
