Back in January, Image & Form revealed an all new game in the SteamWorld universe as part of Nintendo’s Indie Highlights. At the time, it was slated for a release sometime in 2019, but today, we know exactly when that is.

Image & Form have announced today that SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech, the card-based RPG set in the universe of prior SteamWorld games, will be launching first on the Nintendo Switch on the 26th of April.

SteamWorld Quest, which will be exclusive to the Switch eShop for “the foreseeable future,” is a turn-based fantasy RPG in which everything you do in battle is defined by the cards you collect throughout the game. There are 100 cards to collect and build your deck with, tonnes of enemies to take down, and, of course, steampunk robots. You gotta love steampunk robots.

SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech will debut at a price of $37.99 AUD in Australia, or $24.99/€24.99/£22.49 in the US, Europe, and UK, respectively.
