SteamWorld Dig was a smash hit for developer Image & Form when it launched on 3DS and when Switch was announced, the studio was one of the first in the world to announce, not only their support, but also that they had development kits for sometime. Now we know that SteamWorld Dig 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch, but now we have a few more details about the game.

First up, the game is feature complete, meaning that now all that is left is to polish the game and release it, the sad news though is that it is still a few more months before that is going to happen. Game development is a hard job, so the team are going to take sometime to recharge before that final stretch ahead of the games release, which we now know will be late Winter or early Spring, no exact date as yet.

Of course, once the team are back, they plan to announce a date, we just have to be patient a little while longer.

So, I have been gaming since controllers only had two buttons and because I wanted to, I started my own site. Now of course, you can find me writing for Vooks as well
